Working across painting, sculpture, and product design, Oswald blends traditional craft with conceptual depth, creating work that invites pause and reflection.

• Retro Robot Paintings (2015): A series of oil paintings featuring vintage robotic figures, engaging with simulation theory to probe the boundaries between artificial intelligence and human perception.

•  Medium Is the Message (2021): Oil paintings and sculptures exhibited at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, drawing on Marshall McLuhan’s ideas to examine media’s role in shaping experience.

•  RCA (2021): A cast stone sculpture replicating a vintage RCA television in black stone with marbled veining suggestive of scan lines, critiquing the pervasive impact of screens and broadcast media on contemporary life.

•  Detachment (2018): A sculpture of the human form with a WiFi signal as the head, the first documented work to materialize wireless connectivity as a bodily extension, predating similar explorations in the post-internet art movement.
